Activities

The forest site near Big Picture & Choice Academy was researched, designed and planted by WELs students in 2021/22. Students from Big Picture formed a Tree Team to maintain the site. This is a great opportunity to work with student leaders to support this fledgling forest site. We'll focus on removing bindweed from our native plants, cutting back blackberry and watering any of the smaller trees & shrubs that need a little extra help over the warm summer.

What to Bring

Bring a reusable water bottle, snacks & clothing you do not mind getting dirty. Closed toed shoes are required. We'll supply gloves & tools.
